What Will Be Humanity's
Next Big Problem?
DISCOVER TOMORROW'S PROBLEM TODAY.
A 24-hour online hackathon challenging teams to discover overlooked problems the world may face in 2035 — and build the solution before the problem arrives.
1 selected winner-team member will receive a ₹3–5 LPA Job Offer through the HR selection and evaluation process based on role fit, qualification, and performance.
Register your team first. Confirmed teams will access the Project Submission Portal when the submission window opens during the event.
Registration fee: ₹500 per person • Solo (₹500), Duo (₹1,000), 3 Members (₹1,500), or 4 Members (₹2,000).
Imagine The World in 2035.
What Has Nobody Identified Yet?
Technology will evolve. Cities will change. Industries will transform. Human behaviour will adapt. AI, automation, robotics, climate shifts, digital societies, and synthetic media will completely reshape how we live and work.
Some of tomorrow's challenges are already in plain sight. But AIRA'S 2035 asks the deeper question: what is the emerging consequence behind the consequence that nobody is preparing for today?
Identify a new, overlooked, or insufficiently recognized future problem that could realistically emerge in 2035—and build a practical software prototype before that problem becomes reality.
Any Domain. Any Frontier.
Your predicted problem can emerge from any sector of future human civilization:
The AIRA'S 2035 Framework
Your 24-hour journey moves through four deliberate stages of rigorous discovery and engineering:
What changes by 2035?
Identify a realistic technological, social, environmental, economic, or behavioural change that could fundamentally reshape the future.
What new problem could that change create?
Look beyond obvious first-order consequences to uncover a problem that is currently overlooked, emerging, or not yet recognized.
Why will this problem matter?
Use trends, evidence, and logical reasoning to prove the problem could realistically emerge. Clearly distinguish established evidence from future assumptions.
What can we build today?
Design and build a practical technological solution to address, prevent, or mitigate it. Demonstrated via a functional software prototype (hardware simulated where needed).
Don't Stop At The Obvious.
Discover The Consequence Behind The Consequence.
You may start with major challenges such as AI disruption, unemployment, climate change, pollution, traffic, cybercrime, or healthcare accessibility. But your project must uncover the deeper, unaddressed consequence emerging from it.

What Your Team Must Show
Every project report and presentation must address these six foundational questions:
What changes by 2035?
Which technological, societal, or economic shift anchors your future reality?
What new problem does that change create?
The consequence behind the consequence—what overlooked crisis emerges?
Why could this problem actually happen?
Grounding evidence vs your 2035 future assumptions; prove plausibility.
Who will be affected?
Specific user groups, industries, vulnerable communities, or digital ecosystems.
Why are existing solutions insufficient?
Why current tooling, policies, or paradigms fall completely flat.
What are you building to solve or prevent it?
Your functional software prototype (hardware simulated where necessary).
The Problem Matters As Much As The Solution
AIRA'S 2035 is not just about building impressive technology. A great solution to an ordinary problem is not enough.
Originality, future plausibility, grounding evidence, distinction between facts and 2035 assumptions, and significance of the discovered challenge.
Creativity, ingenuity, and how precisely the software concept addresses the root future vulnerability.
Working software functionality, code modularity, architecture quality, and simulated hardware fidelity if applicable.
Long-term societal/commercial potential, scalability roadmap, and defensive viability by 2035.
Clarity of the PDF report, video demonstration walkthrough, and intellectual defence of the future hypothesis.
Crucial Evaluation Principle for Participants & Judges:
A technically impressive project can still score poorly if the underlying problem is ordinary, already well-known, or poorly justified. Likewise, a highly original problem with strong evidence can score strongly even if the software prototype is relatively simple.

Everything You Need To Know
What makes this hackathon different from typical coding hackathons?
AIRA'S 2035 is a problem-discovery hackathon where discovering and proving an overlooked future problem is worth 40% of your score. Instead of asking 'what can we code today?', teams ask 'what consequence will emerge in 2035 that the world is ignoring?' and build the prototype to address it.
Who is eligible to participate and what are team sizes?
College students (engineering, arts & science, diploma), recent graduates, and software professionals are eligible. Teams can consist of 1 to 4 members (solo 1, duo 2, trio 3, or quad 4). The registration fee is ₹500 per person.
What is the registration deadline?
Registration and payment strictly close on 28 October 2026 at 11:59 PM IST. Server timestamps are authoritative; late registrations cannot be processed.
Are hardware prototypes required or allowed?
Your solution must be demonstrated through a functional software prototype. Physical hardware is not required; hardware interactions may be simulated in software where necessary.
What is the difference between established evidence and future assumptions?
Teams must distinguish between established facts today (e.g. 'autonomous AI agents are growing rapidly with data') and future assumptions (e.g. 'in 2035, AI agents manage 90% of household service contracts'). This proves your predicted problem is grounded in reality rather than pure science fiction.
How does the HR Round and ₹3–5 LPA Job Offer work?
All members of the winning team receive a direct HR interview opportunity with AIRA Global Tech for their preferred role (subject to HR eligibility). 1 selected winner-team member receives a ₹3–5 LPA Job Offer based on evaluation, while all remaining winning-team members receive 100% scholarships on the ₹40,000 Premium Course (₹0 payable).
What are the required deliverables for submission?
Every team submits through /hackathon/submit: 1. A single Project Report PDF answering the 6 core questions with screenshots and architecture, 2. A public GitHub repository link with clean commits and README, and 3. A 3–5 minute video demonstration hosted on YouTube or Google Drive.
